 Flowmeter Installation Straight Pipe Length and Grounding Requirements
Straight Pipe Length:
Upstream straight pipe length of flow meter: 5D-10D (D is the pipe diameter), downstream straight pipe length: 3D-5D.
Flow disruptors such as elbows or valves require extending the straight pipe length or installing a rectifier.
Example: If the pipe diameter is 100mm, a minimum of 500mm-1000mm of straight pipe is required upstream.

Grounding Measures:
Ground resistance must be <10Ω. The transmitter housing must be grounded separately and not shared with the electrical ground.
Insulated pipes (such as PVC) must be equipped with grounding rings made of the same material as the electrodes and connected with wire ≥4mm².
