Advantages:

Disadvantages:
Requires a large installation space and a long straight pipe section to balance flow rates.
Requires high viscosity and flow pattern requirements and is not suitable for measuring fluids with large viscosity variations.
The density and flow rate of the measured medium may affect accuracy, requiring careful calibration.
