 The Selection of Electromagnetic Flowmeter Liner Materials

The lining material should be selected according to the corrosion, wear and temperature of the measured medium:
1) Natural rubber (soft rubber)
   Better elasticity, better wear resistance and tensile strength.
  Generally resistant to weak acid and weak alkali corrosion.
 
2) Acid-resistant rubber (hard rubber)
It can resist the corrosion of normal temperature hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid, ammonia water, 
phosphoric acid and 50% sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, but it is not resistant to strong oxidant corrosion. Test common acid, alkali and salt solution.
 
3) Helium Butadiene Rubber (Neoprene)
Excellent elasticity, high tearing force, high abrasion resistance.
Resistant to general low-concentration acid and alkali, salt solution corrosion, but not resistant to oxidizing medium corrosion <80*C; water, sewage, mud, ore slurry test.
 
4)Polyurethane rubber (polyurethane rubber)
Especially in terms of wear resistance.
The acid and alkali resistance is less than 40°C, and it is used to measure the neutral and strong abrasive coal slurry, mud and ore slurry.
 
5)Teflon(PTFE)
It is resistant to boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, concentrated alkali and various organic solvents.
Good abrasion resistance, poor adhesion performance of 80~+180*C; concentration measurement, concentrated alkali, strong corrosive solution and sanitary medium.
