How to deal with the output shaking of Kaifeng electromagnetic flowmeter

1. The root cause of the fault The output shaking can usually be summarized into 5 root causes of the fault: 1. The fluidity is originally fluctuating or pulsating, which is not a fault of the electromagnetic flowmeter in essence, but only reflects the state of the fluidity;
2. The end of the drain pipe is filled with liquid or the liquid contains air bubbles;
3. Electromagnetic interference such as external stray current;
4. The root cause of liquid physical properties such as uneven liquid conductivity or slurries containing variable particles/fibers;
5. The electrode material and the liquid are not properly matched. 2. Inspection procedure Check the output shaking process of the electromagnetic flowmeter. First conduct preliminary investigation and judgment according to the process, and then carefully check and troubleshoot item by item.
The order of inspections listed in the flow is as follows:
1) Easy first and then difficult, you can observe or ask, no major operation is required;
2) According to the previous on-site maintenance experience, the person with high frequency and high probability of appearance in the future is in front;
3) Check the original order requirements. It is also possible to double check in advance if several root causes of failure are identified after preliminary investigation.
1. Check whether there is a pulsating fluidity disturbance source in the electromagnetic flow sensor piping system, whether the fluidity power source is a reciprocating pump or a diaphragm pump.
1) Install the air chamber and choke parts to slow down the pulsation.
2) Increase the damping amount of the instrument. No: Check whether the downstream pump valve has hunting vibration? Such as: improve the control characteristics of the control valve. No: Check if there are other sources of fluctuation disturbance? If present: Eliminate disturbance sources in a targeted manner.
2. Check whether the liquid in the drain pipe is full of air bubbles? The gas collection bag and manual exhaust valve are set downstream of the sensor for easy inspection and confirmation.
1) Check if the drain pipe is full of liquid? If not full: Pay particular attention to the sensor being in a horizontal mount position or a vertically mounted top-down flow position and change it to a fully filled position, such as a vertically mounted bottom-up flow position.
